One of the most important means of saving fuel is the use of recuperators
to recover heat for preheating the combustion air.
A heat recovery
system for exhaust gases from a glass furnace often consists of
a recuperator i.e. a heat exchanger absorbing and transferring
heat into combustion air to the burners.
The recuperator captures
waste heat in flue gases and recycle it back to the process in the
shortest and thereby the most cost and energy efficient way.
Edmeston
INKA® recuperators have been developed from experience
gained from over 50 years of service to the glass industry. This
makes Edmeston one of the most competent suppliers in the field of
metallic recuperators. There are mainly two different types of recuperators
and combinations of these.
